Computerization of Excise Revenue
The Revenue Collection of the Excise department has been computerized w.e.f 1st April,2008. System Study was conducted by the DIO and Asstt.Programme ( CONFONET ). Various registers, permits and licenses are auto-generated using the software application. Training has been imparted to the Officers and staff of the excise department. The software has been developed by the Asstt. Programmer ( CONFONET ) under the guidance of the DIO who is the project leader. The software was developed in Java with SQL Server as the database. The database is hosted in the NIC server. The application is available in the Intranet. The project is running well.
